About The Author

I grew up in rural America, surrounded by family, sisters, cousins, and neighbors, all sharing in the freedoms and escapades that come with country living. My ancestors formed a long line of storytellers leading to my generation. They mastered storytelling! There was and is always a story that engages anyone who is listening. The stories stimulate laughter, interest, and draw listeners into the emotions of the storyteller.

My children’s books are family-oriented, centering on children’s unique insights and their adventures. I have always enjoyed relating to a child’s perspective and my imagination leaves me with many stories to share. I consider it a true blessing to be able to think like both a child and like an adult.

After following an unlikely path leading to today, I have selectively combined certain aspects and skills from each phase of my life to pursue the quest of writing. The goal is to pour my mind, imagination, perspective and my love of colorful tales into storytelling, just as my ancestors did!

I hope this brings joy to many. I want the stories to make readers laugh, spark their imagination, encourage questions, and maybe even along the way, share a few things that are good for the soul.
